ビジネスレターの書き方

英語のウェブサイトを持つようになったりすると海外からの質問や依頼も増えるでしょう。そうした依頼に応えて 資料などを送付する時は 英文のカバーレターを添えたいもの。送付資料を見てもらえば分かる時でも 簡単にカバーレターで何を同封したかを説明すべきである。例文では brochure と DVD を送付しているが、DVD が始めての人への説明に有効だと記している。また、参考にして下さいという意味合いで お茶の先生がマーケッティングのターゲットになり得ることも説明している。ただ、資料を送るだけでなく、こうしたちょっとした文章で相手の対応が変わるものなので 簡単な手紙でも 工夫を怠らぬようにしたいものである。

なお、第３パラグラフの文章は 質問やコメントがあったらどうぞといった内容だが 良く見かけるスタイルだ。 また、最後には 当社の製品に ... という文章だが our の代わりに社名を入れても効果的。
