Kanji Using This Radical
Note: The term とりへん is often used, but in practice 鳥 almost always appears on the right (旁) or at the bottom (脚). Only a small number of kanji place it on the left, and this became even rarer after the shift to modern block script. In this elementary set, only one example is shown, but in total there are many more kanji in the 鳥部, especially those naming birds.
